What if I really know I can make a difference in my community with this training, but I can not afford it? USA Montessori started as a philanthropic mission striving to share the Montessori philosophy with populations that could most benefit from improved early childhood education. We have served individuals in many developing countries, homeschoolers in remote locations, aspiring teachers with a tight budget, and individuals with goals to "make a difference" in their local villages and communities. In the spirit of philanthropy, we still provide partial and full scholarships and fellowships for our pre-requisite courses, and opportunities for some individuals to "work" online as a teaching assistant in lieu of tuition payment for Album-Building Studies. Financial aid is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and work study (TA) positions are NOT GUARANTEED, but granted to top students first. To apply for financial aid (including a partial/full scholarship or work-study), please submit a 250 word essay describing how you plan to improve the lives of children in your community, village, classroom or family with your Montessori training and submit it to: lori.director@usamontessori.org. Please indicate the course for which you are seeking financial assistance and the level of assistance you require. There are no hidden book costs, registration fees or exam fees. Scholarships must be renewed every term, and are not automatically granted for the duration of the program. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
