USA Montessori eCampus

Hello Everyone,

I will be traveling beginning today and until June 1st.  My Internet access from my iPhone will be sketchy.  This weekend is Memorial Day weekend in America, and like many others who travel during long-weekend holidays, I am taking my family to visit my folks "home" in Michigan near our friendly and hospitable Canadian neighbors (the home I grew up in is literally "a stone's throw" from Canada).  Anyway, the things you should keep in mind are the following:

• Your posts will not reach your peers' email until I can return to my office and run "cron" on the main system.  Running "cron" is what distributes your posts from Moodle to emails.  When you do not see your posts arriving in email form, don't panic.  They will ALL come through Tuesday : )  This does not mean to stop posting! 
• If you need me, please send me an email (lori.director@usamontessori.org)  My email on my iPhone is as efficient and reliable as receiving a text message.  My phone alerts me to every email as soon as it arrives.  I don't mind receiving emails (I welcome your communication), but I usually only respond in one or two lines because my phone's tiny keyboard frustrates me : )
• Finally, I WILL be reading your posts on Moodle while I am away; I just won't be responding.  So, again, work as had as you usually do!

For those of you who are taking time off over the Memorial Day weekend, I hope you have a restful and peaceful time.  Don't worry about your studies--enjoy yourself.  The course material will wait for you  : )  But remember, an "absence" of two weeks with no communication will result in your removal from the program (the system automatically does house cleaning).
